Case Study Archives: Refreshing the audio technology leader
DTS is a leading provider of the premium quality surround-sound audio used in cinemas as well as consumer technology incorporated on more than 500 million electronic devices such as home theater, audio products, and video games. Misuse of the brand was causing confusion in the marketplace, so the company turned to BrandLogic.
BrandLogic reworked DTS’s existing identity elements – the symbol, wordmark, signatures, color, and typography. Refinements included enhancements to the “mobius” symbol and the DTS logo, and creation of new signatures that solved space limitations on panels of electronic components, music and video CDs, and video and film.
