For the fourth consecutive year, BrandLogic hosted sessions of
the Conference Board's Corporate Brand Management Conference, which
was held in New York, January 24th - 26th. The conference draws
senior executives from Fortune 1000 global corporations to share
ideas around building value in their brands.
During the main conference, Hampton Bridwell, President of
BrandLogic, was joined by Dave Yeoman, Director of Marketing
Communications of Rockwell Collins, to talk about brand renewal and
revitalization. Bridwell and Yeoman recently collaborated on the
strategy and brand refresh for Rockwell Collins, a leader in
avionics for defense and commercial markets (www.rockwellcollins.com).
Bridwell was joined by Jack Vogler, SVP for Consumer Branding,
who lead a seminar entitled "Creating Highly Effective Corporate
and Product Brands." In addition to offering practical tools gained
from their years of experience as consultants, they facilitated a
workshop in which participants will work in small teams to tackle
real-life positioning challenges for a number of well-known
brands.
Other speakers included executives from Amtrak, Coca-Cola, GM,
Toshiba, Travelers, and Virgin Mobile.
Last year, BrandLogic hosted highly rated sessions of the
Corporate Image Conference held in New York City in January and
Chicago in June.
The Conference Board is a nonprofit, independent membership
organization that conducts research, publishes information and
analysis, and brings executives together to learn from one another.
